‘Over the closed season from Christmas to the end of March we will continue to photograph and record artefacts. These details, together with those relating to fishing vessels and our vast photographic collection will be added to our data bases. This is an enormous task and very time consuming. Once complete however it will enable us to identify any artefact held and also make searching for photographs much easier. As a longer term project we would wish that part of these data bases be made available ‘on line’.
Admission to the Heritage Centre is free although donations are always welcome to enable us to meet the cost of our overheads. Please call and have a chat with the attendees that are on duty as they will be only too happy to assist with any enquiry that you may have.
Visits may be arranged to the Heritage Centre outwith the normal hours of opening or during our closed season. These have proved very popular with groups such as Guilds, WRI Groups, Charity Groups and such organisations. To arrange a visit please email the secretary at email@example.com
