Buckie & District Fishing Heritage Centre

By car, follow the brown tourist information signs from the A98, Fochabers to Fraserburgh trunk road into the town of Buckie, turn left at the central roundabout located in Cluny Square. The Fishing Heritage Centre is located first right on Cluny Place (immediately behind the town’s library). Sat. Nav.setting AB56 1HB

Access for All

The Fishing Heritage Centre is level throughout and has a ‘level access’ entrance. Car parking is within the adjacent public car park which contains four designated disabled parking spaces, two of which are immediately adjacent to the building entrance.

A fully equipped disabled toilet is provided within the building and there is an induction loop facility installed.

Casual seating is also provided where visitors may relax and enjoy researching our photographic collection, library etc.

Green Policy

Energy conservation is regarded as a high priority with the provision of low energy LED lighting throughout the public areas. The provision of heating and hot water are closely monitored and thermostatically controlled. Where opportunity exists, energy use is maintained at a minimum. Electric car charging points are located within the east section of the adjacent car park.
